Arrival Baja 1-11-03

All things pretty much in order, we pulled out of the woods early A.M. Dec. 15th. We traveled fast and easily, good luck seemingly ridin' along with us: Marcia and me, three dogs, three cats. Passing through Indian country, to our surprise, we traded away what I'm guessin' had ta have been a half-ton of assorted shells. A clean sweep!

We worked our way down to...then crossed the border without a hitch. The Baja road we found in mostly good condition, the traffic extremely light. The military roadblocks, perhaps because of pre-Xmas levity, were mostly wave throughs; fer sure, nothin' serious.

Waiting for it to slide by, we hung loose in S. Baja desert most of Christmas day. The day after, late afternoon, we cruised down the Agua Verde road...pullin' up to a good part of the family there at Ranchito San Cosme; Alejo's place. We're glad to report they were surprised and really happy to see us.

Phew!

Glad to be here and back into the action.

Love & kisses.
